Stunning Oceanside Wedding at Dos Pueblos Orchid Ranch

This was such a fun wedding to plan for Karlen and Chris. We had the pleasure of planning not only the wedding, but also the welcome dinner at El Paseo, rehearsal dinner at Hotel Californian, and post-wedding brunch at Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfroom Resort. For the rehearsal dinner it was all about colorful lounge vignettes and bright citrus centerpieces. Karlen is actually from just south of Santa Barbara and grew up on an avocado farm. Dos Pueblos Orchid Farm with its own avocado orchards, was naturally picked to host the wedding day. For the oceanside ceremony, a simple arbor was dressed with white roses and eucalyptus by Anna LePley Taylor. A bed of flowers on either side of the aisle, seemed to grow up organically.

Dinner was held in one of the many old greenhouses on the property. String lights added a romantic twinkle and long tables were dressed with garlands filled with eucalyptus, blue thistle and white blooms. The groom is in the navy, and for the grand entrance the couple chose to do a traditional salute, it was such a nice personal touch. All was captured by photographer Miki and Sonja.

Santa Ynez Wedding Wedding Location: Cebada Winery

We are so excited to be managing Cebada Winery as a new wedding location in the Santa Ynez Valley. To celebrate, we planned an intimate lunch for our wedding planner friends. We toured the stunning 100 acre farm which features breathtaking wine country views and can accommodate up to 200 guests. Feast & Fest provided a delicious picnic lunch and florals by Anna Le Pley Taylor decorated the tables which featured calligraphy from Penned By Shani, china from Onyx & Redwood and rentals from The Tent Merchant. Nina and The Box Theory showed off Forbidden Fruit Orchards many gift and favor options and Michael and Anna Costa and I Heart My Groom were there to capture the details of this beautiful event.

For ceremony there are two options, The Vineyard Oaks area and The Hilltop (available at an additional fee). Receptions are held on a large lawn where a trellised wall serves as a backdrop for the head-table, dj or band. Guests need to be shuttled to the location and amplified music must be off at 10pm. There is basic lighting and power available, but a generator will be needed for most events. All wine served must be provided by the Cebada Winery. And of course, a month-of wedding coordinator is required for all events. If you're interested in learning more about the location, feel free to email us or call 805-448-8028 for packages & pricing.
