Santa Barbara Photographer: Brion Hopkins

I met another talented photographer named Brion Hopkins last Friday.  Brion has spent a lot of time travelling and shooting weddings all over the world, but is now back in Santa Barbara and looking forward to working locally.  I love his fun personality and amazing photojournalistic style. He specializes in fashion, editorial, engagement and wedding shoots.

Baby Nursery Design

It is my pleasure to share a few photos of our beautiful nursery.  All photos were taken by our dear friend and talented photographer Jennifer Clasen. 

We purchased the crib and changing table second hand and painted them so they tied together. We painted the walls a neutral pale pink and I found inspiration for the mural from a design show...  My amazing husband and a few of our artistic friends helped to re-create it. I brought new life to an old chandelier by adding delicate pink crystals. The cherry blossom bedding was a style I found online from Migi.  Our good friends gave us the glider as a shower gift. It too was purchased second hand and they painted it in matching white and had the cushions reupholstered in chocolate brown.  Another good friend crocheted the gorgeous pink and brown blanket.  Tricia Fountaine gave us the beautiful faerie wings and we are so delighted that our little one has a pair of her very own… To see photos of a royal faerie wedding Tricia designed, click here and here.

We absolutely love our little girl's room and can not wait for her arrival.
